We value good communicators in society - eg) a doctor who can diagnose kidney disease AND explain it to the patient is better than a doctor who can just diagnose.

Key competencies: personalised learning, learning dispositions, curriculum coherence, integration (more holistic)

Aim to be constructive students of the future.

Want kids that can persevere when things get tough, they don't just develop these strategies.
